[Percolation Nation] March, 2021

Why miss out? Subscribe to our blog via E-Mail!

Welcome to our 16th Percolation Nation! This blog highlights our ☕Ko-fi backers' generous contributions for the month of March, 2021! ICYMI, we detail the benefits of supporting us on Ko-fi in our first-ever Percolation Nation.
If you like what we're doing, want to join us during our recording sessions, and/or (at least) want to pick up Early Access to our Unedited Episode Recordings, head over to our Ko-fi page and just follow us (by creating a account). Watch our intro video, view our funding goal (currently: self-sufficiency), and scroll through the feed to see who's backed us. Ultimately, you are going to want to check out the posts section to view all the supporter-backed content you're entitled to when you join the nation! When you see something you want access to, just buy us a ☕coffee!

  • We've been cranking away, covering The Walking Dead's bonus episodes of its 10th Season. You should definitely pick-up the unedited episode recordings!
  • SQUAWKING DEAD Ringtone!
What's so great about keeping things fresh on the podcast is that, occasionally, we do something that's so great, it's worth giving it to others to keep. After 3+ years, crediting other creators for their music or just plain using copyrighted music (sorry Bear McCreary), we decided to mix a new Episode Intro Soundtrack that sounded so good and original that we gave it to ☕Ko-fi Backers as a perk and made it available to purchase for everyone else. As a bonus, every purchase in our Ko-fi Shop automatically includes 30 days of Supporter-Backed content!
  • @BlazyGardener's Trivia Tournaments
Over the last month plus, we've had the honor and pleasure helping Sherrandy produce a few FearTWD/TWDUniverse Trivia Tournaments. It's been such a blast! Sherrandy is not only a loyal fan of SQUAWKING DEAD, but one of the most hardcore Fear The Walking Dead fans (at least of seasons 4-6) we've ever met. More than anything else, she is an incredible human being and if you want to take part in any of her upcoming productions, please DM her on Social Media (Twitter, Instagram). Here's some of the things we've done in the last month and if you want to support her in her endeavors, please buy her a ☕Ko-fi!:
  • Our Inteview with Peggy Schott ("Tess", from Fear The Walking Dead)
So, here's the deal: I've always been ambivalent about doing interviews. I'm not stupid, though: I know damn well that they create a level of buzz and fervor that our Episode Breakdowns simply can't and won't produce (and, who knows, if that makes it so that we get more eyes and ears on the overall podcast, who does it hurt?). They are usually shorter and contain 1st-hand info from people who others want to know more about. When Sherrandy & Rachael approached me about doing an interview with Peggy, I gave them the reins! All I did was push a button and make sure the sound levels were good (well, mostly - other things, too!). I'll be editing this interview, today, but here's a copy of the Unedited Interview for you to download!
  • @Cosmomom09's appearance on Talking Dead!
Last, but certainly by no means the least, SQUAWKING DEAD Co-Host, Rachael Burt, appeared on Talking Dead to ask a fan question, alongside Melissa McBride, Cooper Andrews, Director David Boyd, and Property Brothers' Drew Scott! The video description sort of explains the journey (but maybe Rachael & Dave will go through exactly what happened in the pre-show to our next Unedited Episode Recording of [Episode 125]). We were suppost to post this blog, yesterday, but because we deferred it to today, we were able to squeeze this update in, under the wire! We are so very proud of Rachael and, just so you are aware, she is also an artist! If you want to support her work, you can also buy her a ☕Ko-fi!

Help us achieve our present goal!

And here we thought we wouldn't have anything to talk about! In this Princess-centric episode, we go through the depths of her psyche by way of her assigned archetypes, and even find reasons to belly-laugh about some of the ideas we thought up... because, is this SQUAWKING DEAD episode even real? πŸ‘€ thing we know for sure: Watch #TalkingDead this Sunday!
We definitely cut out a lot in the pre-show & post-show, for VERY good reason! If you want a copy of the Unedited Episode Recordings - or just want join us during our next Recording Session - all while supporting this #podcast, Click Here!

Father Gabriel goes Next-Level Stoicism, while Aaron assumes the burden of hosting both his and the padre's soul. While reacting to the shock, drama, and some funnies, we still had a lot of questions that begged answering.
CHRIS, from BMNY DeadCast Live, is BACK after a very long hiatus (both from SQUAWKING DEAD and his own channel) and we're honored to be the ones to ease him back into online life after a heck of an anniversary since the start of...stuff n' thangs.
A TON of preshow in the Unedited Episode Recordings for you to grab with MANY behind-the-scene takes that were definitely too hot to make the final cut! How do you get it? Buy supporting us, of course! And, best of all: you, too, can lend us your thoughts during our recording sessions! Click here!

David Cameo:

  • Beautiful Bloodbath
  • Sympathy for the Walkers: Too-Tired walker, next to the field of sleepy walkers

  • Why didn’t Gabe tell Aaron about the walker/bodies on the roof?
  • Father Gabriel changed over the 6 year time jump, but how? Why? Will we see it?
  • Gabe vs. Mays: Was Gabe right? Does GOD give him permission?
  • Was Gabe being genuine with Mays or saying what he wanted to hear?
  • Giving Father Gabriel a free pass because GOD told him to?
  • Did Mays kill the people on the roof or the burned bodies at the cottage?
  • Never "holster" your gun this way...
  • Negan gets redemption, but not Mays
  • Is Gabe touched by GOD? He keeps lucking out
  • Emotional moments: Aaron’s facial expressions
  • Duane Jones Bourbon: NOT MORGAN’S SON! An homage to Actor from Night of the Living Dead. Super Troll brothers (Kirkman & Gimple) at it again!

  • Foreshadowing with the Skelehorse + rider?: Blue scarf looks like the ribbon on Strand's hat (FearTWD S6); Evokes memories of Rick Grimes
  • Aaron’s a good shit: contains all the goodness in Gabriel/Rick

  • Gabriel bluffing a spade flush

  • These bonus episodes could represent 5 stages of guilt
  • Mays and Negan: Will this change Gabe’s/our perspective on Negan?
  • Goodbye Gabe: The Water Tower
  • Someone is dying this season
  • Non-threatening Lance Hornsby, next episode
  • TWD is still shocking and surprising us!

We went through most of the hype, drama, and anticipation for this week's episode in last week's #podcast. Breaking down this episode has been quite the trip, as we discover how much consideration the writers and show-runner, #AngelaKang, has had for #DarylDixon's development for quite a while, now!
Consider supporting us! You receive Early Access to this and future Unedited Episode Recordings, as well as the ability to lend your insights into future Recording Sessions - along with some other neat perks: Click Here!

WE'RE BACK covering THE WALKING DEAD, again! In it's own weird way, #TWDx has been a reflection of where we are in society: It's the longest season of #TWD and has gone through quite the evolution. So it goes, this episode deals a lot with "rebuilding", but also "acknowledging" the past and reconciling the two.
We cut out a LOT from this episode! "...but where can one get the raw, unedited episode recordings," one might ask? Well look no further: for these and the chance to lend your insights in future recordings - all while supporting this #podcast - Click here!
David Cameo:
Rachael Burt:

  • Cole’s awesome knife/sword: Frodo’s Sting.
