Little did we know it, going into this, how much relevance this discussion would have when it finally came to the upcoming season of TWD (Season 11), especially in relation to the tension/conflict between Negan & Maggie. Having the former's brutality seared (again) into our subconscious (while acknowledging our acceptance of him, be it begrudging or open) and also revisiting the latter's relevance in prep of her actual return, this discussion semi-neatly dovetailed into the Origins recaps of our four main characters: Daryl Dixon, Maggie, Negan, and Carol Peletier. Although it's mostly cons, when it comes to Origins, much like Negan, himself, there are some redeeming moments that make it a worthwhile watch, especially as a refresher after a 10 season run (with some gaps for breaks in Season 10).
This was a HEAVILY edited episode with a nice amount of behind the scenes divulging prior to starting the actual episode. If you'd like to download a copy of the unedited episode recording, as well as be involved in future recordings, all while supporting the podcast, click here:

AKA @BlazyGardener

  • Why compare The Walking Dead episodes 6x03 & 6x16? How long have we been doing this?
  • The big moments made you forget about some other significant moments/themes.
  • Leaving people behind.
  • Spotting Greg Nicotero as a walker in front of Glenn Rhee & Nicholas' dumpster was too funny.

  • Glenn's death fake-out was a bellwether moment representing the eventual decline in TWD's popularity
  • Evan Schrodek is main editor for 6x03, Thank You, and cites this episode as his favorite to edit

  • Dan Liu did the editing for 6x16 (he eventually moves onto Directing episodes of TWD, but also Shadow and Bone)
  • The way the show kept teasing the possible loss of Rick Grimes' hand (even screwing with Carl Grimes, too).
  • Ben cites 6x16 episodes as being the scariest in the franchise. Sherrandy spots some great shots.

  • Dave describes how Tales of The Walking Dead should do their What If episodes (Virginia & Negan)
  • Ben describes two separate, but very similar score tracks from both episodes 6x03 & 6x16 that tie the underlying moments together.
  • Listen to Just Keep Walking's Inside the Music of The Walking Dead as well as their interview with Sam Ewing

  • Missed opportunities with the opening sequence music, as well as with releasing more score/soundtrack volumes (check out B. Claimed's YouTube Channel to get your fix, until then).

  • Now that we're talking about music, want a copy of our SQUAWKING DEAD Ringtone?
  • There TWD goes, getting our hopes up with emotionally uplifting music (like FearTWD Seasons 4 & 5 before getting Season 6)...

  • OG Fear vs Nouveau Fear waging All Out War.
  • Another thing to appreciate in our rewatch: Alexandria Safe-Zone's Scott (played by Kenric Green). Watching Heath (AKA the audience) come to the realization that you can't save everyone.
  • If 6x03 was the bellwether moment, signaling the beginning of the end of TWD's popularity, 6x16/7x01 was the mass exodus. 8x08/8x09 (Carl's death) was the finishing move.
  •  Why you're (not really) a monster for not feeling as sad about Carl's death (at the time).
  • Tyrese and Carl's death episodes are major outliers/tributes.
  • TWD turns loss into a plot mechanic (they don't easily forget who we've lost).

(The moment Dave allowed himself to finally release his pent-up emotions towards Carl's demise)
  • The big comparison between Episode 3 & 16: Never really knowing whether to leave no man behind. The Super Troll Brothers (Robert Kirkman & Scott M. Gimple) are trying to get you to stop watching, but you just won't.
  • Going from "I stopped watching when Glenn died" to "I'll binge-watch the whole thing when it's over" (⚠WARNING: Please pace yourselves!)

  • Discussing the disappointing Drunk History-esque narration of The Walking Dead: Origins. But they're catching you up after 11 years.
  • Negan's Origin was not only entertaining, but articulated what the show has been trying to imply for years. Restoring our perspective on Carol.
  • They could've put more work into this project and recapped it more from the subject's perspective. We could've learned a little more than what we already know.
  • Maggie was super under-utilized, as a character (limited dialogue).
  • Our thoughts and plans as TWD's ending begins. How FearTWD is doing crazy things.

BETTER LATE THAN NEVER! Well, who can blame us?! We just interviewed Mo Collins, as well as released a brand new segment titled, #TWDFamily Branches, featuring our phenomenal cousins on the #TWDFamily tree. The final Season Premiere of #TWD starts off a lot like #TWDSeason9 (a heist!). What becomes increasingly clear is how much we've all experienced on #WalkingDead is going to end up playing into these 24 episodes. Meanwhile, enjoy the small breaks for humor and sweet callbacks to seasons past amidst what is increasingly turning out to be a fairly dark season. If we're going down, we're going down, together.
Though this episode is coming out fairly late, the Unedited Episode Recording was released far ahead of time, last week! [RECAP] Season 8, Episode 16 of The Walking Dead, "Wrath"

Why miss out? Subscribe to our blog via E-Mail!

By Carolina Gallardo (@carolgallardo)

Well, we finally arrived at the Season 8 finale of The Walking Dead.  In reality, it was a clear cut episode that avoided being too winded by keeping the episode at an hour and 15 minutes (which, without commercials probably comes out to a solid hour of content).  That being said, the writers couldn't avoid to waste too much time so we got to the task at hand fairly quickly.

We join Rick as he finally has the courage to speak to Siddiq, as he tries to better understand Carl's mindset in those final moments.  Siddiq explains to Rick what we already know: That Carl was trying to honor Siddiq's mother in his attacking of those walkers.  This thought apparently stays with him and ultimately comes up to the surface at the very end.

Everyone is apparently preparing for the battle on both sides and we see Eugene assuring Negan all the ammunition has been prepared as requested.  Negan goes so far to use the gun offered by Eugene as a test (shooting a scare crow labeled "Rick") and it passes with flying colors.  Negan questions whether Eugene really wants to come with them and witness this slaughter himself but he assures him that he NEEDS to be there.  At that point, we see Negan direct a group of, quite frankly, EMO looking Saviors (color me surprised that even exists) to a certain checkpoint while at the same time directing other Saviors to bring Dwight along for the ride.  Since we last saw Dwight, he has been branded with the scarlet "A" (literally) and is basically getting the same prisoner treatment Daryl received when he was held in the cell.

Once everyone is clear on their orders, Negan tells Eugene and Gabriel to ride along with him on their way to this final battle and of course, they oblige.  During that car ride, Negan uses it as another opportunity to have a "confessional" and he informs Eugene and Gabriel that the plan shared with Rick was a fake plan.  He tells them that he's taken things a step further by planting his EMO saviors where he thinks Rick will find them and likely murder them but not before he finds another set of false plans on them.  Rick will assume that these are the correct plans and follow those which will lead them right to where the Saviors will be waiting for them.  Father Gabriel is so disgusted with this plan that he, blind and all, decides that he would rather tuck and roll and jump out of a moving car (which he does).  Once he lands, he tries to navigate himself through the forest with his near blind tunnel vision.  Inevitably of course, he is caught by, of all people, Eugene.  He is livid with Father Gabriel and asks him at gunpoint "Where does your faith go when you truly need it??".  Father Gabriel is completely unaware that Eugene had far bigger plans and that he should've had some faith in his fellow man.  Regardless, Negan eventually finds them and gets them back in the car.

Back with Team Grimes, our group is confidently following their map, assuming its the right course of action.  We see them encounter the EMO saviors we saw earlier and, as Negan anticipated, they made quick work of them.  Morgan murdered one Savior in a particularly savage manner that caused him to have another hallucination in the form of Jared, the Savior that he held down in the bar while he was devoured.  Morgan is clearly on edge, as was evidenced at the start of episode, almost taking out little Henry in another moment of hallucination.  Regardless, they keep moving forward and eventually come to a large, fairly open field (PS: We'll come back to their comment on the large "herd" at the end of the recap).  All of a sudden, we hear the infamous Savior whistle coming from all sorts of directions.  We hear Negan use a bullhorn to tell Rick about how he had a master plan, how Dwight got intercepted, how Eugene helped make this happen and how Gabriel was going to have to be killed off now.

All the Saviors appear on the horizon as a massive force to be reckoned with and the countdown begins to the planned slaughter...except that the slaughter doesn't happen.  At Negan's call, the Saviors open fire, only to have their ammunition backfire and injure and/or kill the shooter, all courtesy of Eugene.  This provides Rick and crew with the opening they need to go with a full attack and start defeating the surviving Saviors.  Even Father Gabriel gets in on the action by punching Negan, followed by a beat down by Dwight (hey, you can't blame the guy for getting his licks in).  Negan does manage to run off though, his hand injured by the faulty ammunition, with Rick in hot pursuit.

What follows is the "Final Stand" between the two men, by the same tree with the same hanging stained glass elements we've seen in all the "Bleary Eyed Rick" flashes.  Before Rick can do any significant damage to Negan, he is "Lucille-ed" in the side, explaining the bloody injury we noticed in those flashes.  It's at this point that Rick implores Negan to give him 10 seconds to plead his case, on why it doesn't have to end this way.  Negan starts counting down as Rick tearfully requests for peace, even citing about how this is what Carl would've wanted.  It's at this point that time almost stands still and we get a moment where we see not just Rick in tears but Negan as well.  Then, in a moment so fast that you almost miss it, Rick slices Negan's throat, with a shard of stained glass.  Negan drops to his knees, clutching his bleeding neck, uttering the haunting sentences of "Look what you did.  Carl didn't know a damn thing".

These sentences uttered by Negan before losing consciousness haunts Rick as well, as he turns around and noticed that The Saviors have all surrounded and they, as well as his own people, have been frozen watching the exchange.  Rick breaks free of his trance and then calls to Siddiq to come save Negan.  It's at this point that Maggie almost makes a leap for Rick and/or Negan, only to be held down by Michonne.  She breaks down in tears and screams with anguish on how Negan murdered Glenn and how it's not over until Negan is dead.  This was definitely pretty painful to watch, especially hearing Glenn's name mentioned again after so long (let's not forget, Glenn was killed almost 2 seasons ago).  Rick stands by his decision though that this is all part of a NEW way of moving forward, a way that involves living together and cooperating together for the greater human good, especially in a post apocalyptic environment.  And that involves essentially rehabilitation rather than simply annihilation.

After this point, we see the immediate aftermath and wake of Rick's decision: Eugene and Rosita reconciling; Alden telling Maggie that he wants to help build Georgie's plans for the future, to which Maggie agrees to; Daryl dumping Dwight in the woods with a car and keys, telling him to go find Sherry (we see that he DOES go back to their home and she WAS there, evidenced by a note saying "Honeymoon Forever"); Morgan opting to leave his violent way of life behind and isolating himself at the junkyard, urging Jadis (aka, Anne, WTF double agent) to go and join Rick's new society; Father Gabriel visiting his old church and now able to see again (???); Tara and Rosita visiting the Sanctuary to aid them in rebuilding; Rick and Michonne telling a hospitalized Negan that he will be locked up for the rest of his days for what he has done.

The most jarring moment though, comes when we see Maggie back at the Hilltop in her office speaking to Jesus.  She tells him that the Saviors that they captured are truly an aid to the rebuilding efforts but that Rick and Michonne's decision to keep Negan alive is wrong.  Then she ominously adds that after rebuilding and restrengthening, they would "show them" how wrong they were.  To which Jesus nods in agreement and Daryl comes out of the shadows in vocal agreement.

This is essentially the end of the episode, and now with six months until season 9 begins, here are some points/questions that we will likely keep in mind:

  • Can we expect to see Negan locked up in Morgan's cell?  All signs seem to point to YES.
  • Will Morgan ever cross paths again with the Grimes Group?  Or did we see Morgan's official exit forever?
  • Can we expect to see a Civil War with Maggie/Daryl/Jesus vs. Rick/Michonne?  All signs seem to point to YES.
  • Does the fact that Father Gabriel regained his vision mean that there is a potential "cure" to curb the effects of the zombie infection?
  • Why does Jadis now want to be referred to as "Anne"?  Is that her birth name?  And if so, why was she going by "Jadis"?
  • Will we see Georgie and her group again come Season 9, after an assumed jump in time to a rebuilt Alexandria and neighboring communities?
  • Will we see the black helicopter again that Jadis/Anne was so desperate to flag down?
  • What will become of Dwight?  And where is Sherry?
  • COMIC SPOILER: Will the new season bring the official arrival of "The Whisperers", based on the subtle hint/acknowledgement of the immense presumed Walker herd on the horizon?
  • And finally, where in the WORLD is Heath??

In any case, we'll have a full 6 months to speculate.  All in all though, season 8 was a vast improvement over season 7 and after two full seasons of conflict with The Saviors, it was a resolution long overdue.  Now it's time to look to the future...whatever that looks like.

[RECAP] Season 8, Episode 12 of The Walking Dead, "The Key"

Why miss out? Subscribe to our blog via E-Mail!

By Carolina Gallardo (@carolgallardo)

Episode 12 of Season 8 entitled "The Key" was arguably one of the best episodes of the season.  While many out there (including us) were expecting this episode to be merely a setup for the final battle (a "filler" episode, essentially), it was far beyond that.  It was action packed and set in motion many developments that will be hopefully quickly resolved by the season finale.  There were definitely some "suspension of belief" moments but the exciting developments far outweighed the critiques.

The episode starts off with Negan's men following his orders: Infecting all of their weapons with walker blood, in preparation with their altercation with The Hilltop.  They have been firmly instructed by Negan that they are only to maim the Hilltop and not shoot to kill.  This battle is meant to be a warning of what The Saviors are capable of and, in theory, they should cower and surrender.  We can see that Simon, Negan's right hand man, however is not convinced but he goes along with the plan.

Back at Alexandria, Rick and Michonne arrive and Rick takes some time to compose himself before gearing himself up for the next wave of battle.  It's at a quiet moment at Glenn and Abraham's graves that Daryl approaches Rick and probably delivers the most heart felt and longest monologue he's been given in years (for God's sake AMC, give this man more lines...geez).  He in essence apologizes for his impulsiveness at The Sanctuary but it was a coming from a place of just wanting to end this war for good.  Rick understands and they move forward with what to do next, but Rick doesn't leave without thanking Daryl for all he's done to get everyone here safe and sound, including no doubt Judith (IE. the John Conner of this series).

As part of the plan, Rick puts down roots at the side of a road to keep an eye out for the Saviors and to send out the signal once he sees them.  Finally, the convoy of Saviors come down the road (with freshly infected weapons) and Rick notices not just the convoy but that Negan is isolated in one vehicle at the back of the line.

Not quite sure why your leader would be traveling by himself in the BACK of the convoy but okay.  We'll just go with that.

Rick simply cannot help himself and he gets in his car and immediately pursues Negan's car until he manages to go down a random side street and t-bone Negan's car off the path.  They then continue a wild car chase, while Dwight and Simon stop their cars and ponder what to do...but not before Simon looks back in his side mirror with a smirk.

This is because during their car ride together, Simon attempted to pick Dwight's brain on his thoughts on this mission because on Simon's part, he had serious reservations on this tactic.  He felt that an endeavor meant to scare Rick and team was a futile attempt considering that Rick and team don't seem to scare easily.  The possibility that Rick could have eliminated Negan from the equation seems to embolden Simon to flat our recommend to Dwight when they attempt to "look" for Negan (honestly, I'm reaching here to even say that they made an attempt) that they should just cut their losses and move on.  To Dwight, this sounds extremely tempting: Cut our losses and just move away.  Not only does this save Rick and team, but it also allows Dwight a chance at a new life.

Unfortunately, Simon, being the manipulative person that he is, takes the opportunity to leverage this in a different direction.  He proceeds to inform the Savior crew in tow that while they tried to look for Negan, he was gone and all that was left was some blood and an overturned car.  The Saviors are lost at what to do and Simon does exactly what he's been wanting to do: Step into the position of leader of The Saviors and disregard Negan's orders but informing everyone that to "honor" Negan they will now go to The Hilltop with a new objective.  That is kill everyone there until they can erase that this whole episode ever happened.  We can see that Dwight has made the realization that Simon is far more dangerous and psychotic than Negan ever was and we will now need to see how he plays into the new plan.

Meanwhile, unbeknownst to them, Rick apparently pushed Negan's car off the road and overturned in front of a building.  Negan survives (of course) and runs into the building, with Rick feverishly chasing after him but not being able to land ONE SHOT.  This is one of those incredulous moments, particularly since we have to remember that Rick was a SHERIFF.  But hey, again, we'll go with it.

Once both men are inside the building, Rick runs out of bullets (of course) and proceeds to try and get Negan with his hatchet.  After a some back and forth however, Negan falls through the floor and both men end up in the dark (is this a metaphor?).

While in the dark, Negan states that he's still alive because he "is a goddamn cat" (GREAT LINE) and the two men go back and forth with comments while trying to orientate themselves in the darkness.  While in the dark, it is revealed that Negan was in the dark about something else: The events at the junk yard.  When Negan tries to negotiate a ceasefire solution (25% of all their earnings rather than 50%), Rick questions him on why should he listen to him based on what he did to the whole junkyard community.  It's at that point that we see the realization on Negan's face that Simon disobeyed him...and is likely in no rush to come and save him.

Rick and Simon continue to do their back and forth dance of fighting (this time with a flaming Lucille), but in the end, Negan escapes out of the window...And disappears from Rick's view.

In reality however, one of the most significant things that likely happened this episode occurred with the women of the Hilltop.  Specifically Maggie, Michonne, Enid and Rosita.  While on watch, Maggie notices in the distance some empty crates with a flag and a note.  They go out to see what his is and they uncovered that it is a request for records or food, in exchange for "The Key" to their future.  While most of the ladies are skeptical, Michonne thinks it's worth investigating.  Ultimately they go and encounter a strange black truck with twin female soldier looking individuals guarding it.  Finally an older woman comes out in a very Hillary Clinton-esque outfit and style.  She introduces herself as Georgie and as someone who means no harm.  She has been watching them for some time and believes that her knowledge could be useful but they would like an exchange of records (music, no spoken word crap allowed).  Maggie is skeptical and they decide to bring them back to The Hilltop.

Once there, they have a bigger internal discussion on what to do with them but Michonne manages to convince the ladies that these people could really be the help that they need (even citing Carl's saving of Siddiq and now they have a doctor).  Maggie eventually comes out with crates filled with records (again, music, no spoken word) and Georgie changes the terms of the deals, for the better: She gives them food that they desperately need and "The Key".  This is literally a makeshift book entitled "The Key to the Future" with plans for building dams, bridges, aqueducts, mills for producing grain, etc.  Essentially the key to rebuilding society.  Georgie informs that she confident that they will be able to implement this and that they will be back at some point to see how they've done.

Now, there are a LOT of speculations on who Georgie and her people are but in my opinion, I believe that they are the same group that were in the helicopter that was flying over Rick when he was on his way to the junk yard.  To go out on a limb, I'm going to say that this is the government, scoping out the land to see what pockets of communities may have formed and which ones are strong enough and capable enough to rebuild society.  I have no doubt that this will be a major (and quite frankly exciting) story arc for season nine.  Oh yeah, and I'm going to say Heath is with them too.

But what happened to Negan?  Well, we end the episode with Negan coming in and out of consciousness in the passenger seat of a car...being driven by Jadis of all people, and who is driving while keeping a gun on Negan.  Negan comes to and Jadis swiftly pistol whips him and the episode ends.

What Jadis has in store for Negan is anyone's guess, particularly since she no doubt suspects that Negan gave the call for Simon to murder all of her people.  Unfortunately, it seems we wont find out their future until episode 14 (dammit).

In the meantime, expect episode 13 to be the beginning of the end of The Saviors and the start of the epic last stand at The Hilltop.

Sometimes, when I create these descriptions, I experience a little deja vu (have I written this already?). All of us are aware that #TalesOfTheWalkingDead is an opportunity to break out of the box of what people think is #TWDUniverse. With mixed fan perception, we (along with Diana from Screens in Focus) attempt to highlight what makes this episode so good. Sometimes, even when I create these descriptions, I feel like I'm saying the same thing over and over, again, so it's great to see the mundaneness of what we do in our waking life reflected back at us by way of #TWDU.
And here we are again with some technical difficulties, which I think we've since solved with our latter recordings (available for streaming, for all supporters). Please don't miss out on the wackadoo things we say that we can't possibly publish, or the inane things that go on behind the scenes! And let's not forget to mention that attending a recording session is absolutely free, but you have to make sure to create a @Ko-fi account and follow us, here:

  •  Joining us for our coverage of this episode is Diana from Screens in Focus!

  • First off, of course we have to get Diana's general thoughts on this anthology series, thus far. She loves comedy, but wasn't sure how it would mesh with the world of The Walking Dead. While watching this episode, she found herself laughing out loud, especially on a second viewing!
Tales of the Walking Dead Episode 2 Recap and Ending, Explained
  • Bridget loved the episode, possibly because she is a massive fan of dark comedies such as Heathers. She found it difficult to wait for Sherrandy Rachael to watch the episode because she wanted to talk about it so badly!

  • Rachael said she can only like the episode if Sherrandy's theory is correct (more on that shortly). She cannot get behind these characters seemingly re-spawning to relive the day. It's just not how real life or The Walking Dead Universe works (as we know/knew it).
Tales of the Walking Dead Episode 2 Is a Modern Classic - Horror Obsessive
  • Is Rachael just mad because other characters like Glenn Rhee and a particular character from Better Call Saul couldn't "respawn"? Diana also mentions a Stranger Things character that she would like to see return.

  • Sherrandy really enjoyed the episode, especially on second watch. She appreciates that the universe is branching out to take chances and explore new ideas!
Tales Of The Walking Dead' Episode 2 Is The Weirdest TWD Has Ever Been, By Far
  • Even though we aren't discussing the flagship series, we find ourselves still wondering where certain characters are, like Heath, Cyndie, Scott, Kal, and Eduardo.

  • How did you feel about Fear the Walking Dead's beer bottle balloon? It's another example of a spin-off series taking chances the flagship series wouldn't dare to (namely, Fear The Walking Dead).

  • Dave: Loves to see the show unapologetically explore mechanics and ideas we could never experience on the main show. He compares it to how, if you love a band's freshman album, would you want their sophomore album to sound exactly the same? Some folks might prefer it, but you usually want to see a band progress/evolve in both style and sound.

  • Were people too harsh on The Walking Dead: World Beyond solely because they wanted it to give us more information on Rick Grimes? Similarly, do you think folks watching Tales of The Walking Dead were hoping for more direct connections to other TWDU series?

  • Could we see all the Tales of TWD characters return in Season 2 and perhaps crossover in future episodes? If a second season is in the cards, will it be just a continuation of these stories? For example, the premiere for Season 2 could follow the events of Evie & Joe just after their episode, while the second episode would pick up where Gina & Blair Crafword left off.

  • Had you ever heard of Folie a Deux prior to this episode? I had heard of it, but only because it is the title of the upcoming sequel to 2019's Joker, starring Joaquin Phoenix. Lady Gaga has been cast as Harley Quinn, so it seems likely that these two characters might exhibit the same behaviors as Blair & Gina.

  • Prior to the first respawn, Blair is reading an article by Chase Helzer (possible fictional author), which talks about The Spreading Depression (the dark wave of brain activity that occurs at the time of death). The quote Blair reads out loud is directly lifted from the real-life scientist, Aristides LeΓ£o, "At the edge of life and death is a spreading dark wave." In his study, Aristides mentions that neurons use their remaining charge in a final blast, depleting their stores, which is similar to the description Blair's husband, Brian, uses to explain what dΓ©jΓ  vu really is.

  • Sherrandy's theory on Blair & Gina's Groundhog Day-esque respawns: Gina and Blair are just video game characters (possibly Telltale's The Walking Dead). Every time they "lose" they start over at their last "checkpoint".
  • Do you think it's possible that Gina and Blair were already dead, before this episode even began?

  • The younger boy in this episode is named Wendell, which is most likely a nod to the similarly named character on Fear the Walking Dead due to the fact that he climbs into the tanker's cab and is carrying a mini-figurine of a semi-truck.

Tales of the Walking Dead Episode 2 Review: Blair/Gina Recap
  • It also appears as though we're looking at the herd on the highway setting from Season 2 of The Walking Dead, at the end of this episode!
  • Sherrandy wonders if the underlying thread that moves through these episodes, thus far, is the concept of our perception of reality. Evie & Joe are worried about the way they will be perceived by people (formerly) closest to them (Evie's separated husband & Joe's online connection to Sandra/USHLDBSCRD). This episode focuses on our perception of time, as we see Gina and Blair struggling to make it past the respawn point to make it to the end of their day. The next episode, titled Dee, it's our perception of... You didn't really think I would spoil it here, did you?

  • Sherrandy's eagle-eyes spot, near the end of the episode, Blair sitting at Gina's desk with a clock above her that has a bent minute hand. The thought is that this represents Gina & Blair bending time.
[Editor's note: What everyone failed to notice is that the second hand does not move throughout the entire scene, indicating that time has stopped and, perhaps, won't resume until Gina & Blair resolve both their personal and interpersonal issues]
  • As we end our coverage on this episode, I want to give a big round of applause to Parker Posey and Jillian Bell for their amazing portrayals of Blair Crawford and Gina, respectively. I also want to give a major shoutout to director, Mikey Satrazemis, and, of course, everyone else who worked on this episode. Hopefully, we will see Blair and Gina return to TWDU!Tales of the Walking Dead Season 1 Episode 2 Recap: Blair/Gina
